We aim to cover many aspects of Coarse and Carp fishing not only in Essex, but throughout the UK. With help for beginners in Getting Started , guides to rigs that has straight forward diagrams to help you, and also the knots page to help you tie them. So together with the float fishing and baits pages there will hopefully be enough information for you to gather to get you started. If you are getting out on the banks for the first time, it's advisable to stick to the smaller species like the Roach and Rudd etc. until you are ready to tackle the hard fighters like the Barbel , the old "tinca" Tench, or the popular hard fighting carp However if you have already started fishing and want to get into Carp fishing then visit the "Carpers Corner" section where John and Camo have plenty of advice for you to land that personal best. Together they have added some great articals, Bait recipes ,tips,rigs and lots more. Whatever you fish for, just make sure you enjoy ever minute of it and encourage others to take up our great sport.
